Tempo Storm to CEVO Gfinity S9 finals

Tempo Storm have been officially invited to attend the $125,000 CEVO Gfinity Season 9 finals taking place in London from April 28 to May 1.

The CEVO Gfinity Season 9 finals were originally meant to only see CEVO Season 8 champions Virtus.pro as the only invited team, however it appears that massive delays in scheduling the planned four North American and three European qualifying brackets have forced the organisers to issue invites to fill out a few of the slots.

With the $125,000 event kicking off in nine days' time, CEVO have now invited a team from the North American side, Tempo Storm of Brazil. The world's fourteenth best team tried their chances in the second North American online bracket but fell short to CLG in the semifinals.

Tempo Storm will be bootcamping in Stockholm before the CEVO Gfinity finals in London

With two North American brackets and a European bracket still in play, it is unlikely that another team will be invited directly to the event unless the brackets (the North American ones are both around the semifinals level whereas the European one is currently in the quarter-finals zone) somehow fizzle out.

The current team list for the $125,000 event from April 28 to May 1 is therefore:

The CEVO Gfinity Season 9 finals will be the next premier CS:GO event, running from April 28 to May 1 at the Gfinity Arena in London and with $125,000 on the line.
