ESEC 2014 LAN Finals announced

Electronic Sports European Championship 2014 LAN Finals will be held on December 13th-14th in Belgrade, Serbia, this time with four teams and $10,000 up for grabs.

The battle between European nations will commence this week with the group stage of European Championship 2014, and the organizers E-Frag have announced more information regarding the tournament.


European Championship 2014 LAN Finals will have 4 teams and a $10,000 prize purse

Last year's LAN Finals featured only the grand final between Denmark and France (3-1) in Belgrade, Serbia. The same city will once again host the continent's best nations, only this time the four best will meet at a new venue, Bel Expo Centar, and it will be a two day event, from December 13th-14th.

The prize pool is also updated, going up from last year's $3,000 to $10,000 with the following distribution:

1. $6,000
2. $3,000
3. $1,000

The teams' travel expenses and accommodation will, same as last year, be covered by the organizers.

In case you missed it, the groups for European Championship 2014 were announced a few days ago, and the first matches will take place this week starting with Ladislav "⁠GuardiaN⁠" Kovács' Slovakia against Latvia on Thursday at 19:00 .
